Mad Scientist Smoothies

Put your favorite smoothie recipe into one of these beakers for a pooktacular Halloween snack. These Mad Scientist Smoothies don’t require a whole lot of creativity but yield a ton of frightful fun!

Look, I get it. Being a parent means you are limited on your time and let’s face it, there are days where you’d rather spend that extra ten minutes on sleeping than turning your kid’s toast into an exact replica of a lion. You don’t have a ton of time to make extra creative ideas with your meals. You just want them to eat some form of vegetable and call it a day. As a parent of an almost two year old, I cannot stress enough how I understand. The good news is that you don’t have to spend a lot of time making food fun. Sometimes all you need is a good smoothie recipe, a few scientist beakers, and let the festivities begin.

Add some homemade plant-based protein powder in each smoothie for a packed-protein boost too and now you have a quick meal on the go.

Keywords: halloween, halloween for kids, fun food

Maybe even throw a few Surf Sweets gummy worms (OR make your own!) into the top of the beakers and serve with a gross twist. Now you can hydrate your kids and fill their bellies with fruit and veggies before the big day of candy fest. I call that balance and what a win for all: Parents 1 | Kids 1.
